1 tablespoon butter
1/2 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
4ounces raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
4ounces lump crab meat
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2cup sour cream
1/4cup mayonnaise
Seasonings:
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Additional Ingredients:
1cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cook the seafood: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic, then add chopped shrimp and cook until pink. Remove from heat and add crab meat.
Prepare the dip: In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. Fold in spinach, shrimp, crab mixture, mozzarella, and half the Parmesan.
Bake: Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top, and bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Serve: Serve hot with tortilla chips, crostini, or vegetables.
Notes
You can prepare this dip ahead of time and bake just before serving.
Substitute canned or imitation crab if fresh is unavailable.
