1cup whole milk

Instructions
Preheat the oven and prepare ramekins: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Butter four 8-ounce ramekins and place on a baking sheet.
Make the sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually whisk in milk. Cook until thickened, then season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
