Ingredients
UnitsScale
1 medium head of cauliflower (about 4 cups, riced)
1/2cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the cauliflower into florets and pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice.
Microwave the riced cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl for 4-5 minutes. Let it cool slightly, then transfer to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella, Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and egg. Mix well until a dough forms.
Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet and press it into a circular crust about 1/4 inch thick.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
Remove from oven, add desired pizza toppings, and return to oven for 5-10 minutes until toppings are cooked and cheese is melted.
Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Make sure to remove as much moisture as possible from the cauliflower to achieve a crispy crust.
Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal.
This crust can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
