Pretzel Bites:

  • 40 mini pretzels

Caramel Filling:

  • 20 soft caramels (unwrapped)
  • 1 small apple (finely diced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Topping:

  • 4 oz white chocolate (melted)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon crushed pretzels or toffee bits (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pretzel Bites: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out half of the pretzels.
  2. In a small bowl, toss the diced apple with lemon juice to prevent browning and set aside.
  3. Place one unwrapped caramel on each pretzel and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 4–5 minutes until the caramels soften.
  4. Remove from the oven and gently press a few apple pieces into each softened caramel. Top each with another pretzel to create a sandwich. Let cool completely.
  5. Decorate: Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the pretzel bites and sprinkle with cinnamon and optional crushed pretzels or toffee bits. Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
