For the Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped or torn
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling
  • Toasted baguette slices or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Prepare the Tomato Topping: In a small bowl, toss the halved cherry tomatoes with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Make the Cheese Mixture: In a separate bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, and Parmesan until smooth.
  4. Layer and Bake: Spread the cheese mixture into a small baking dish. Top evenly with the seasoned tomatoes and fresh mozzarella halves. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  5. Finish and Serve: Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh basil, and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices or crackers.

Notes

  • You can roast the tomatoes separately for extra flavor before adding them to the dip.
