Salmon:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Shrimp:

  • 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Other:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Salmon and Shrimp: Pat dry the salmon fillets and shrimp. Mix Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice mixture on the salmon and shrimp.
  2. Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook salmon for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, cook shrimp in butter for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
  4. Finish and Serve: Squeeze lemon juice over shrimp and salmon, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

  • Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
  • Adjust spice level to taste.
