Salmon:
2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Shrimp:
1/2pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Other:
1 tablespoon butter
juice of 1/2 lemon
chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Salmon and Shrimp: Pat dry the salmon fillets and shrimp. Mix Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice mixture on the salmon and shrimp.
Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook salmon for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked.
Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, cook shrimp in butter for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
Finish and Serve: Squeeze lemon juice over shrimp and salmon, garnish with parsley, and serve.
Notes
Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
