For the Cajun Cream Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch of salt (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter: In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add Cream & Simmer: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.
  4. Season & Thicken: Add Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Simmer for 3–4 minutes to thicken slightly.
  5. Stir in Parmesan: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
  6. Finish & Serve: Add lemon juice if desired. Remove from heat and serve over preferred dish. Garnish with parsley.
