Ingredients

Units Scale

Haddock Fillets:

  • 4 haddock fillets (about 6 ounces each)

Breadcrumb Topping:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Additional:

  • lemon wedges for serving
  • chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold the haddock fillets in a single layer.

  3. Prepare the Fish:
  4. Place the fillets in the prepared dish and pour the melted butter evenly over them.

  5. Make the Breadcrumb Topping:
  6. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the buttered fish, gently pressing it onto the surface to help it stick.

  7. Bake:
  8. Bake uncovered for 18–20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes at the end.

  9. Serve:
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
