  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the noodles: Cook the egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté onions and beef: In a large skillet, sauté the onion in olive oil until soft. Add garlic, then the ground beef, and cook until browned.
  4. Prepare the meat sauce: Stir in tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine sour cream and cottage cheese: In a bowl, mix sour cream and cottage cheese. Toss with cooked noodles.
