Description

A flavorful and tender baked salmon dish topped with a rich, buttery honey mustard sauce, perfect for a quick yet elegant meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spoon the sauce evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute maple syrup for honey for a different flavor profile.
  • Use wild-caught salmon for best flavor and texture.
  • Great served with steamed vegetables or rice.
