Ingredients

Scale

Cod:

  • 4 cod fillets (about 6 ounces each)

Marinade:

  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For Serving:

  • Chopped parsley
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Prepare Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Marinate Cod: Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the fish. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, turning once halfway through.
  3. Bake: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Remove the cod from the marinade and place it in the baking dish. Bake for 15–18 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Finish and Serve: Spoon a little of the baked-on marinade over the top of the cod. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges. Serve hot.
