Description

These Thai Sweet Chilli Beef Bowls are a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors. Tender strips of beef are coated in a delicious sweet chilli sauce and served over steamed rice with crunchy vegetables. This dish is quick to make and bursting with Thai-inspired taste.

For the Sweet Chilli Beef:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

For Serving:

  • Cooked rice
  • Sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the beef slices with soy sauce and minced garlic. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Stir-Fry: Heat vegetable oil in a pan over high heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Add bell pepper and onion, continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
  3. Add Sauce: Pour sweet chilli sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce.
  4. Serve: Serve the sweet chilli beef over steamed rice. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • You can adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less sweet chilli sauce.
