For the Sweet Chilli Beef:
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
For Serving:
- Cooked rice
- Sliced green onions
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the beef slices with soy sauce and minced garlic. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- Stir-Fry: Heat vegetable oil in a pan over high heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Add bell pepper and onion, continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
- Add Sauce: Pour sweet chilli sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce.
- Serve: Serve the sweet chilli beef over steamed rice. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- You can adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less sweet chilli sauce.
