Green Tea:
4cups water
2 green tea bags
Blueberry Mixture:
1/2cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
ice cubes
fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Boil Water: In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Add Ingredients: Reduce heat, add green tea bags, blueberries, lemon slices, and ginger if using. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
Steep: Remove from heat, steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and strain mixture into a pitcher, pressing blueberries and lemon.
Sweeten and Chill: Stir in honey or maple syrup. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Serve: Pour over ice, garnish with mint and lemon slices.
Notes
For a sparkling version, mix with chilled green tea and sparkling water.
