  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Sauce and Pasta:

  • 1 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional Garnish:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Beef Mixture: Heat olive oil in a skillet, brown ground beef, then add onion and garlic.
  2. Add Sauce and Pasta: Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, broth, seasonings, and macaroni. Simmer until pasta is tender.
  3. Finish and Serve: If desired, stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Garnish with parsley before serving hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
  • Ground turkey or chicken can be substituted for beef.
