  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil or unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional:

  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the melted coconut oil or butter with the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  4. Form dough: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
  5. Shape and bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, place on the baking sheet, and gently flatten. Bake for 9–11 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Cool and enjoy: Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
