Crescent Roll Dough:

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)

Almond Filling:

  • 1/3 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Topping:

  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a standard muffin tin.
  2. Make Almond Filling: In a small bowl, mix almond flour, sugar, softened butter, egg, almond extract, salt, and all-purpose flour until smooth.
  3. Assemble Muffins: Unroll crescent dough, separate into triangles, spoon almond filling, roll up, and place in muffin tin. Top with sliced almonds.
  4. Bake: Bake for 13–16 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  5. Cool and Serve: Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
