Ingredients

Units Scale

Mushrooms:

  • 16 oz cremini or button mushrooms, cleaned and halved

Seasoning:

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley and lemon juice for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Toss Mushrooms: In a large bowl, toss the mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Cook: Place the seasoned mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and tender.
  4. Serve: Remove the mushrooms from the air fryer and serve immediately, garnished with parsley and lemon juice if desired.

Notes

  • Avoid overcrowding the basket for best crisping—cook in batches if needed.
  • For an herby twist, toss mushrooms with thyme or rosemary before air frying.
