  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Breading:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten

Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Combine buttermilk, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken tenders, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare Breading Stations: Set up three shallow bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip in eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.
  4. Air Fry: Preheat air fryer, spray chicken with cooking spray, cook at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Make the Glaze: Mix honey and melted butter, brush over hot chicken tenders before serving.

  • For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the marinade or drizzle hot honey at the end.
