- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Brush each chicken breast with olive oil on both sides.
- In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to adhere well.
- Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 6–8 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the coating is golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use a meat mallet to pound the chicken breasts to even thickness for uniform cooking.
- Try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra heat.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
