Description

Juicy and flavorful chicken breasts made perfectly crispy in the air fryer, ideal for a healthy and quick dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush each chicken breast with olive oil on both sides.
  4. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to adhere well.
  6. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 6–8 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the coating is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use a meat mallet to pound the chicken breasts to even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • Try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra heat.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
