Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Chicken Fajitas:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fajita seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Warm flour or corn tortillas, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken and Veggies: In a large bowl, combine sliced chicken, bell peppers, and onion. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with fajita seasoning, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until everything is well coated.
  2. Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Add the chicken and veggie mixture to the air fryer basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the veggies are tender with slightly charred edges.
  3. Finish and Serve: Remove and squeeze fresh lime juice over the top. Serve hot with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings like sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.

Notes

  • To save time, use pre-cut fajita mix or pre-cooked chicken.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer for a quick meal.
