Air Fryer Chicken Caesar Cutlets

Crispy and juicy chicken cutlets made in the air fryer, served with a classic Caesar salad for a quick and healthy meal.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
  • Croutons (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts horizontally to create thin cutlets.
  2. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken cutlet in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Spray both sides of the cutlets with olive oil spray and place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  7. Toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, shaved Parmesan, and croutons if using.
  8. Serve crispy chicken cutlets over the Caesar salad.

Notes

  • Use store-bought Caesar dressing for convenience or make your own.
  • Pound chicken to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • Air fry in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
