Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: sliced cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Mix the Burger: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Cook the Patties: Place the patties in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  4. Add Cheese: Add cheese during the last minute if desired.
  5. Rest and Serve: Remove burgers and let them rest for 2–3 minutes. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
  • For juicier burgers, avoid overmixing the beef.
  • Toast buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes after the burgers are done.
