Description

Crispy, spicy, and juicy buffalo chicken bites made effortlessly in the air fryer. A perfect appetizer or snack for game days or parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place beaten eggs in a separate bowl and breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Coat chicken pieces in flour mixture, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray and place chicken bites in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  7. In a small bowl, combine buffalo sauce with melted butter.
  8. Toss the cooked chicken bites in the buffalo sauce until well coated.
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or celery sticks.

Notes

  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • You can adjust the spiciness by adding more or less buffalo sauce.
  • These bites can be served with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
